The Environmental Atlas of Abu Dhabi Emirate aims to embrace a wide constituency of readers in an innovative and compelling manner, highlighting the most significant environmental aspects of the Emirate.

The 200-page full colour book presents the unique natural heritage of the Emirate of Abu Dhabi in an engaging narrative framework, interwoven with stories, case studies, facts and statistics, illustrative figures, anecdotes, photographs and thematic maps. The first half of the Atlas is filled with graphical and artistic depictions of the geological and cultural history, status and future of Abu Dhabi Emirate. These designs run alongside informative textual descriptions. The second half of the Atlas is dedicated to cartographic Abu Dhabi Emirate maps. These maps, along with descriptive text, feature the results of environmental and geological studies carried out by AGEDI, its partners and other organisations.
